A QUINELLA was the perfect way for Kendrick Racing to celebrate being named winner of the Sky Racing Summer Night Series for this season.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick (pictured above) collected the award last Friday, April 29, at his Sunshine Coast home track.
At the same meeting, he saddled up a quinella when Maximum Output (main photo), ridden by Tiffani Brooker, won a Class 3 (1000m).
The All Too Hard three-year-old, second-up from a spell, started a $3.80 chance and beat stablemate Queen Sweeper ($2.80).
It was a fitting result, given the stable had a remarkable 11 winners, 12 seconds and 12 thirds during the Sky Racing Summer Night Series at Caloundra.
Kendrick said the results wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of all of the stable’s staff.
“It is sometimes hard getting up on a Saturday morning, so to get this result is good,” he said.
“It’s a great atmosphere on a Friday night, so very happy to get the award.”
