We’re excited to welcome this striking filly by Wild Ruler out of Miss Clicquot to the Kendrick Racing stable – a filly that blends speed, class and precocity with a pedigree built for success.

By Group 1-winning sprinter Wild Ruler, this filly hails from the first crop of a sire who was elite on the track – winning the G1 Moir Stakes and placing in multiple Group races throughout his career. Wild Ruler was a fast, sharp 2YO who trained on to beat some of the best sprinters in the country, and he’s passing that talent on to his progeny.

Her dam, Miss Clicquot, is by champion sire Encosta De Lago, a proven broodmare influence and a source of stamina and class. This gives our filly a strong genetic foundation – combining the speed of her sire with the depth and versatility from her dam’s side.

She’s a forward type with great muscle definition, a strong hindquarter, and an excellent walk. Early breakers have noted her intelligence and trainability – two things we love to see in a filly looking to get up and go early. We have high hopes that she’ll be one of the sharper juveniles in her year and train on with success over sprint distances.

Kendrick Racing is thrilled to offer this elegant and well-bred filly by The Autumn Sun out of the stakes-performed mare Memphis – a filly with the pedigree, physicality, and presence to develop into a top-class three-year-old.

By The Autumn Sun, the five-time Group 1-winning son of Redoute’s Choice, this filly carries elite genetics from one of the most exciting stallions in the Australian studbook. The Autumn Sun was a champion 3YO, known for his powerful turn of foot and versatility, and he’s now passing those qualities on to his stock – producing classy, scopey types with staying potential and a touch of brilliance.

Her dam, Memphis, was a talented race mare in her own right, multiple times stakes-placed, and brings in the blood of Danehill Dancer – one of the most successful broodmare sires of the modern era. Memphis has already proven herself at stud, with multiple winners from limited runners, and this filly is shaping up to be one of her best yet.

This filly is beautifully put together – athletic, leggy, and elegant, with a lovely deep girth and clean action. She’s built like the classic Autumn Sun types: scopey, strong through the shoulder, and with a fluent, effortless walk. Introducing our exciting colt by Zousain out of Written Doubt – a well-balanced, athletic type with a strong sprinting pedigree and all the makings of an early-running, high-speed prospect.

By emerging young sire Zousain, a Group-winning and Group 1-placed son of Zoustar, this colt is bred for brilliance. Zousain was narrowly beaten in three Group 1s, including the Golden Rose and Coolmore Stud Stakes, and is now stamping his progeny with that same explosive turn of foot and quality physique. His first crop are already showing early promise, with good types coming through the systems around the country.

The dam, Written Doubt, is by Written Tycoon, one of Australia’s most prolific sires and now a leading broodmare influence. Written Doubt is a proven producer, and brings speed and toughness to the pedigree, tracing back to a family that consistently throws up fast, competitive racehorses.
