Wild Ruler was a fast, sharp 2YO who trained on to beat some of the best sprinters in the country, and he’s passing that talent on to his progeny.

Her dam, Miss Clicquot, is by champion sire Encosta De Lago, a proven broodmare influence and a source of stamina and class. This gives our filly a strong genetic foundation – combining the speed of her sire with the depth and versatility from her dam’s side.

She’s a forward type with great muscle definition, a strong hindquarter, and an excellent walk. A 3rd on debut at Newmarket and a last start winner over 1600m in a highly rated maiden with all the major UK stables present, this lightly raced filly who’s yet to miss a placing (3-1:1:1) from 3 career starts will continue to improve with time and as she settles into her new surroundings on the Sunshine Coast. Purchased for 150,000GNS, Viking Invasion is a last start Listed winner at Deauville, France when beating the undefeated Godolphin galloper Aegean Prince who won his previous start by 8L.

Since stepping up in trip, Viking Invasion has won 2 of his last 3 starts and looks a tough on pace, progressive stayer suited for Australian racing.

With 2 other Australian trainers bidding on him as well, we knew we had the right horse in our sights.

His Australian Targets

Being a Stakes winner already has made a plan for Viking Invasion quite easy. He is set to arrive in Australia in early December and we will look to set his sights on the QLD Winter Carnival in 2026 before heading to the Spring Carnival later in the year.
