Just Precious, ridden by Jake Bayliss, getting the job done with an impressive metropolitan win at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Just Precious is back to her best with an impressive metropolitan win third-up from a spell.

The four-year-old mare scored the third victory of her nine-start career in a Benchmark 70 (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday (August 9).
Ridden by Jake Bayliss, Just Precious ($6) raced just behind the leaders before staking her claim in the straight and kicking strongly to the line to win by just under a length.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick was extremely happy to see the mare back in the winner’s stall in a Saturday metro race.
“Her first-up run on Caloundra Cup Day was excellent, but she was a little bit flat second-up, and just didn’t finish off as well as expected,” Kendrick said.
“But with a freshen-up and a good ride by Jake, she showed she is a quality mare with a dominant win,” he said.
“We will now look to try and put another Saturday metro win on the board and then make some decisions going forward from there.”
