It was the “Snow Show” in the first race at Rockhampton on Thursday.
The three-year-old broke through at his first run back from a spell at his fifth career start.
Ridden by Ryan Wiggins, Show Show ($6) won a Maiden (1400m) by more than a length.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick said patience had paid off for the owners of Snow Show.
“He ran a couple of good races last preparation,” Kendrick said.
“He was always a little bit week, but with a spell, he has matured and was strong to the line,” he said.
“He should improve over further.”
