THE most impressive part of Moveitmoveit’s second career win was he’s still learning his craft.
The lightly raced four-year-old took his winning strike rate to 50 per cent with his second win in four starts at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday (February 19).
Ridden by Ben Thomspon, Moveitmoveit ($1.70-fav) won second-up from a spell in a Benchmark 58 (1300m), despite lumping 60kg.
“He’s a promising horse who appreciated the step up in trip,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He still has plenty to learn but has made it two wins from four starts,” he said.
“His full brother Matcha Latte is on the AJC Derby path and this bloke should be similar and appreciate extra distance.
“He is lightly raced and the owners have been patient. So, hopefully he will repay them now.”
