Hard Reyva, ridden by Robbie Dolan, completed the double.IT was double the delight for Krew Racing, Kendrick Racing and jockey Robbie Dolan at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday (February 18).
They combined for a double in successive races with Tavistorm and Hard Reyva, with each sporting the Krew Racing colours.
Tavistorm ($4.60), a tried horse purchasing having his second run for the stable, broke through in a Benchmark 62 (1600m).
Trainer Stuart Kendrick said the horse (main photo) appreciated the step up in trip and it was a terrific ride from Dolan.
“He should appreciate a further step up in distance and will head to Brisbane next start,” he said.
Hard Reyva ($2.15-fav) won an Open (1200m) in good style.
“He stepped up to open company and showed he has come back in terrific form this preparation,” Kendrick said.
“It was another good ride by Robbie, which saw him track the pace into the straight and then finish over the top of them,” he said.
“He will also head back into town and showed that he should appreciated 1400 metres next run.”
