FIERCE Warrior’s sprinting win on debut at Ipswich on Monday (April 12) marked a milestone for Kendrick Racing.
The Better Than Ready colt was the stable’s 10th individual two-year-old winner for the season.
“We’ve been enjoying a good season and our youngsters have been making their marks,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“They’ve been winning everywhere, from at home at the Sunshine Coast to a mix of city Saturday and midweek city winners,” he said.
“It is always exciting when the two-year-olds are firing and congratulations to everyone involved, from our wonderful staff to the owners.
“Fierce Warrior is raced by our all-girls syndicate, so also a big congratulations to them.”
Fierce Warrior ($8), ridden by Kyle Wilson-Taylor, went into the Ipswich 2YO Class 2 (800m) without an official trial but proved too strong.
He won comfortably by two lengths.
