PREDICTIONS for three-year-old colt Early Thoughts are on the rise.
He broke through in good style at his third career start, with a step up in distance proving to be to his liking.
Ridden by Allan Chau, Early Thoughts ($12), which has started double digit odds at all three career runs, pulled off an upset in a Maiden SW (1400m) at the Gold Coast on Saturday, August 21.
It followed a fourth over 1100m at the same circuit last start, when beaten just under five lengths.
“It was a great win,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He is a lovely Vancouver colt and looks like he will appreciate getting over further,” he said.
“It was a great result for Archer Park and the gang at Early Thoughts Luncheons.”
