EASY Company has graduated to tougher grades after her breakthrough maiden win at Ipswich.
The three-year-old filly broke through at her fifth career race-day outing on Wednesday, May 17.
Ridden by Tiffani Brooker, Easy Company ($3.80) won a Maiden Plate (1350m) by nearly a length after placings at her past two.
“She deserved the win after being unlucky a couple of starts ago at Doomben (when runner-up),” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“She was well ridden by Tiffani and appreciated the step up in distance, and also handled the wet track,” he said.
Kendrick said her owners had been patient.
“Hopefully, she can go on with it now with a few more wins,” he said.
Easy Company is out of Deluga Lass and by The Brothers War.
