RICH Enuff four-year-oid Pocket Full is lining the pockets of connections.
The gelding made it back-to-back metropolitan wins with victory at Eagle Farm on Saturday (October 7).
Pocket Full ($6.50), ridden by inform apprentice Bailey Wheeler, looked the winner a long way out in the Benchmark 75 (1200m).
It followed a breakthrough metropolitan win in the same grade at the Toowoomba Cup meeting a fortnight ago.
“He’s building a nice little record and that is two metro wins in a row,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He’s always shown us plenty. He had form around the likes of Antino early on,” he said.
Kendrick said the horse had lost its way at times.
“He’s a bit of a big goose somedays, but he’s starting to put it together,” he said.
“He travelled well and looked the winner throughout,”
Wheeler’s three kilo claim again was crucial, with the horse carrying 57kg instead of 60kg.
“It’s gold that three kilos. He’s a good young rider,” Kendrick said,
