AUTUMN Show has put his staying credentials on show.
He broke through in SW-Maiden (2200m) at his home track on New Year’s Eve as a $3.20 chance.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick said patience paid off for the owners.
“He is a lovely looking horse, but had been disappointing over the shorter trips,” Kendrick said.
“His last few runs have showed that he can stay, so we put him up to the 2200 and it proved the right move,” he said.
“It was a smart ride by Ryan Wiggins, who took off mid-race when the speed slowed.”
