MASTER Showman has taken the next step.
The Archer Park five-year-old is now a Saturday metro winner after scoring at the Sunshine Coast meeting (August 10).
Ridden by apprentice Cody Collis, Master Showman ($4.60) won a No Metro Wins (1300m) in good style.
He finished strongly to win by a half-length making it back-to-back success after scoring in midweek city grade last start.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick said it was a terrific win.
“He took the next step and has made it two from two for the stable,” he said.
“He looks a promising horse. He’s well-bred and hopefully can go on and put some more Saturday metropolitan wins on the board.”
