ZOUSTAR three-year-old Street Chase will set out in search of Magic Millions riches after an impressive maiden win.
Ridden by James Orman, Street Chase ($1.70-fav) set a class record when he broke through at his second career start at Doomben’s midweek city meeting on Wednesday (September 18).
He was untroubled in winning a C&G Maiden Plate (1100m) by three lengths.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick said the horse was very impressive first-up from a spell.
“He will now be aimed towards the three-year-old Magic Millions race in January,” he said.
“He is a lovely three-year-old by Zoustar bought by Sherrin Racing.
“They have been very patient with him and it was great to see him win like that at his first run for this campaign.”
