New Hampshire, ridden by apprentice Jace McMurray, was the second of two winners for the stable on Sunday.

Nightstick and Jace McMurray completed the Sunday treble.

Pocket Full, ridden by apprentice Rob Thorburn, won on the poly on Friday night.

WET weather may have played havoc with south-east Queensland racing but Kendrick Racing still had a great weekend with four winners on the Sunshine Coast poly track.
A Sunday treble followed Pocket Full’s win a Class 5 (1100m), with apprentice Rob Thorburn aboard as $2.20 favourite, on the poly on Friday night.
“It was good to see Pocket Full back in the winner’s stall,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He had just been out of form his first couple of runs back, so we dropped him back to provincial grade to get a win and his confidence back up,” he said.
Gear changes did the trick for Pink Cashmere (main photo), which kicked off the Sunday treble.
Ridden by Kyle Wilson-Taylor, Pink Cashmere ($2.60-fav), bolted in to break through in a Benchmark 65 (1100m), winning by four-and-a-half lengths.
“Pink Cashmere is an exceptionally well-bred mare, and it was pleasing to see her put it all together,” Kendrick said.
“She has been missing the start, so we removed blinkers and nose-band and she jumped well,” he said.
“She was ridden perfectly by Kyle and won impressively.”
The stable completed the Sunday treble with two horses piloted by apprentice Jace McMurray.
The first was New Hampshire ($2.70), which won a Benchmark 55 (1100m) by a length.
“New Hampshire has been very consistent and deserved the win,” Kendrick said.
“He handles the poly really well and came with a very good sprint,” he said.
McMurray backed that win up in the very next race, the last for the day, when Nightstick ($3.50-fav) won a Benchmark 55 (1400m), also by a length.
“He showed his love for the poly track with an impressive finishing burst,” Kendrick said.
“With blinkers back on and a good ride, he finished all over them,” he said.
