AIR We Go’s belated racetrack debut was well worth waiting for.
Kendrick Racing unveiled the Capitalist three-year-old with an impressive win at Ipswich on Wednesday (December 4).
Ridden by Kyle Wilson-Taylor, Air We Go ($3.10-fav) won a Maiden (1100m) by more than half-a-length.
It followed a three-length trial win last month.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick was pleased with the win on debut.
“He has always shown a lot of ability, but has been a very immature horse,” he said.
“The owners have been very patient with him, and he showed that he has got a bright future.
“We will now look to target a nice three-year-old city race next start.”
