PROMISING Written Tycoon filly Bulloo will step up to Saturday metropolitan grade after a brilliant return to racing.
She scored the second win of her fledgling four-start career first-up in a QTIS 3YO Class 1 Plate (1200m) at Doomben on Wednesday, September 1.
Ridden by Ryan Maloney, Bulloo ($4.80) hugged the rail and snuck away to win easily by one-and-a-quarter lengths.
“It was a great return to the races as a three-year-old after a good two-year-old campaign,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“She has always been going to get better with maturity,” he said.
“She has a great pedigree and, on the dam’s side, should run a trip.
“She will head to metro Saturday grade next start and then make a decision on where we head.”
