Hot Torque Invegas, ridden by Kyle Wilson-Taylor, kicked the treble off on Friday night.

Streak Of Winning gave the Kendrick-Wilson-Taylor combination a double.

ECONOMICS is not eligible for the Magic Millions Country Cup but that was not the mission when he won at the Sunshine Coast Friday night meeting.
Connections were just pleased to see the five-year-old put it all together for an impressive return to form.
Economics (main photo), ridden by apprentice Jace McMurray, won the Magic Millions Country Cup Qualifier Benchmark 75 (1000m) by three lengths as $3.40 favourite.
It was his first start since finishing down the track at Doomben in August.
“Unfortunately, he’s not eligible to go into the main Country Cup race on Magic Millions Day,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“But we will target another race in Brisbane and then hopefully into the Magic Millions Sprint,” he said.
“He has been a very frustrating horse. Last preparation he was probably one of the fastest horses we have in his trackwork but just didn’t put it all together.
“This time he has had no issues. Everything has gone smoothly, and he showed what he could do.”
The victory completed a Friday night treble for Kendrick Racing, earlier combining with jockey Kyle Wilson-Taylor to win with Hot Torque Invegas and ex-Hong Kong horse Streak Of Winning.
Hot Torque Invegas ($8) broke through in a QTIS Maiden 3YO (1000m) at her third career start.
“She has come back a better and stronger filly this time in,” Kendrick said.
“She always showed plenty of ability, but the win was very impressive,” he said.
“She had to do work early to hold out another horse and then kick strongly in the straight to when going away.
“Hopefully, she can keep improving into city grade.”
Kendrick said Streak Of Winning just didn’t settle into the Hong Kong environment.
“He has been a bit of a work in progress, but showed he has plenty of ability,” he said.
“He won a jump-out ahead of the race, leading all the way.
“But he showed in his win he could come off the speed and go between horses for an impressive win.
“He’s definitely a horse that can keep going through the grades.”
