Galactic Legend won the last to give the Kendrick Racing and apprentice Cody Collis combination a double.

ENTERPRISE Lassie has loomed as a big chance in a series final race on Caloundra Cup Day.
The four-year-old mare (main photo) was outstanding in winning a Benchmark 65 (1800m) by nearly four lengths at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, May 26.
Ridden by apprentice Cody Collis, Enterprise Lassie ($7.50) gave nothing else a look-in, scoring a dominant win.
It was her second win in a row after scoring over 2000 metres on the Caloundra poly track last start.
“She was very impressive, beating a quality field,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“She took up the running early and won easily with plenty in hand,” he said.
“She will know head towards the Provincial Stayers Series Final on Cup Day.”
The win marked the start of a double for the Kendrick-Collis combination.
They also won the last, a Class 1 (1200m) with Galactic Legend ($5), which prevailed in a tight finish.
Kendrick said it was great to see Galactic Legend put a second win on the board for this preparation.
“He is a lovely horse and has been working really well,” he said.
“We made a couple of changes, including blinkers on and a drop back in distance.
“He showed heaps of fight to get his head down on the line to win narrowly.”
