IOANE has shown what he can do when he puts it altogether.

The four-year-old Savabeel gelding returned to the winner’s stall third-up from a spell at Ipswich.

“He has always shown ability, but has been a work in progress,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

“He can do a lot wrong in his races, but was ridden perfectly by Kyle and showed there are more wins in store for him,” he said.

Ioane ($7), ridden by Kyle Wilson-Taylor, won a Class 2 (1350m) on Tuesday, January 7.

Stablemate Can’t Recall One, owned by the same connections, finished third.
