LOST In Transit excels at the Eagle Farm 1200 metres.
The five-year-old gelding made three wins and two placings at seven runs at the track and distance with a fighting effort on Saturday (March 15).
“He showed a heap of fight to win another metropolitan race,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He had no luck in the run and was posted deep but fought on really well and was going away again on the line,” he said.
Ridden by apprentice Cody Collis, Lost In Transit ($8.50) notched the seventh win of his career.
“He also had no luck last start when caught in a speed battle,” Kendrick said.
On that occasion, he finished ninth over 1350 metres at Doomben.
“He showed (on Saturday) the 1200 is probably the perfect distance for him,” Kendrick said.
