SHOW Me Mercy showed his sprinting rivals none when he romped home on debut.
The speedster was untroubled in winning a QTIS 2YO Maiden (1050m) at Caloundra on Sunday, November 27.
Piloted by James Orman, Show Me Mercy ($2.05-fav) cruised home to win by nearly four lengths in an eye-catching start to his racing career.
“He’s an impressive type by up-and-coming stallion Astern,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He has always shown plenty of ability and it was good to see him win so well under race pressure,” he said.
“He will be aimed towards the Phelan Ready Stakes in two weeks and hopefully then onto the Magic Millions.
“He’s also QTIS eligible so it was a good pay day for the owners.”
Kendrick Racing has had two two-year-old runners this season and both have been successful on debut.
The other one is Torque I Tee.
“Both are being aimed at the Magic Millions,” said Kendrick.
