THE stars aligned when Virgo Vision broke through for a well-deserved win at his home track.
The four-year-old gelding, which had been a perennial place-getter, scored in a Maiden (1200m) on Sunday, July 9.
Ridden by Ryan Wiggins, Virgo Vision ($7) won easily by two lengths.
“It was great to see him finally break through,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He has been very consistent but always found one better on the day,” he said.
“It was a perfect ride by Ryan Wiggins and it saw him show the turn of foot he showed in a recent trial.
“A big thanks to owner Judy Cutts for her patience.”
