TWO winners at different tracks was the ultimate outcome for Kendrick Racing on Friday (November 10).
The stable struck with Canny Impact (pictured above) in Rockhampton at 4.42pm.
It was again celebrating just over three hours later when Ultimate Outcome (main photo) won at the Sunshine Coast night meeting.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick said the option of sending horses north paid dividends again with Canny Impact’s win.
Ridden by Justin Huxtable, Canny Impact ($3.80) won a Benchmark 60 (1400m).
“With racing getting strong in south-east Queensland, Rockhampton gives us an option to place these consistent horses where they can still win and give owners a return,” he said.
Canny Impact had finished second in Mackay last start before going one better at Rockhampton.
Ultimate Outcome’s Friday night win came in a Benchmark 58 (1400m).
Ridden by Ben Thompson, Ultimate Outcome ($4.20) broke through at his third run back from a spell.
“Ultimate Outcome deserved to get another win under his belt,” Kendrick said.
“His last run was very good, having no luck and a wide trip,” he said.
“He again drew the outside barrier and had another wide trip, but Ben Thompson kept him balanced and finished too strongly to win going away.”
