SHOW A Heart four-year-old Vetta Velocita has put his best foot forward on the Gold Coast poly track.
He returned to the winner’s circle at his first start on a synthetic surface in a Benchmark 62 (1200m) on Saturday, April 22.
Ridden by Tiffani Brooker, Vetta Velocita ($3.70) toughed it out to win by just under a length.
“It was great to see him return to form with a tough win on the poly track,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“He had no luck at his last start, but showed his class to win well (on the Gold Coast) after being trapped wide,” he said.
“It was fantastic to see him regain winning form for owner and breeder Judy Cutts.”
Vetta Velocita now has four wins from 18 career starts and more than $115,000 in career prizemoney.
