YOUR Too Good lived up to her name at her stable debut on the weekend.
The five-year-old mare, having her first start since transferring to Kendrick Racing, broke through at her first start since May at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday (October 29).
Ridden by Ben Thompson, Your Too Good ($3.30) raced in second just behind the leader before holding on in a tight go in the Benchmark 65 (1000m).
It was her fourth win in a 24-start career, which has also included 12 placings.
She’d won a trial over 850 metres in good style leading into her return to the racetrack.
“She trialled well and ran right up to her work for a strong win,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
“She was ridden perfectly by Ben Thompson and hopefully can go on for a few more wins,” he said.
